I am working in new things for my print on demand Zazzle store and I wanted to share a little token with you. I appreciate all your support along the years and although I don't sell my digital stamps anymore, I know a lot of you liked them and I still make some from time to time. I have tried several times to get my mind to start selling them again but, honestly, I don't have the time and I don't want to start anything if I'm not a 100% committed to it. 

Anyway, today I have a little rabbit that you can use for your Easter card making or any other occasion. Just a rabbit that I create and that I think that is cute enough to deserve to be painted. I also created a paper sheet with sentiments and some other images for those who prefer to have something in physical format to craft. A bunch of cute and fun sentiments for your cards and the back of the paper is pastel green, you can use the left overs to make confetti or little details for your cards. In this quick post you can see how my gouache painting gets much better after I re-touch it with my prismacolor pencils. I am not good at gouache, I need more practice, but combining these two styles is fantastic. I hope you like the result. Watch the video for a quick glance at it!.

I'm back again to show you my first gouache painting. I don't know why I thought that painting a tree or a kind of a landscape would be easier than what I usually do (which are characters). I don't like to paint landscape, so this is kind of my very first on that field too. 

I found it very complicated to be honest. I did the background with watercolor, because since the gouache paint reactivates with water, I didn't want to have a very muddy background. I did have fun painting the leaves of the tree (not the trunk), and they don't look too bad... I guess I need to practice that. 

Because I didn't know what to do with the bottom part, I kind of made that wall that I decorated later with colored pencils. I actually liked the feeling of painting with color pencils on the paint, so I will be doing that more often. I like the texture in my paintings. But I think I better stay painting characters from now on. Although if I want to get better at other things I should keep trying. Pity that I don't want to get better at it haha.

Today I just have a relaxing video. I just got this box of gouache paint for Christmas and, since I never had this kind of paints before, I thought it fun to record a video of the opening. Believe me, it took me so long to put it all together, but if you want to relax with soothing music you can watch this video. 

I had never used gouache before, I had never watch a tutorial. I have seen what other people create with this medium and I thought it looks too amazing to not try. My tries are going to be probably garbage but if I don't try I won't know, right? Besides, I'm all for learning new techniques and practice.

Happy New Year! I hope 2025 brings you health and happiness to you and your family. 

I start the year with a simple illustration. I hope this year I'm more consistent in making art and sharing it with you. Let's see where 2025 goes, but the good intentions are there. The unexpected might happen but until then, I hope I can get into a routine in which I can combine and be successful at everything I want to accomplish this year. 

This illustration has been completely done using Procreate, using my favorite brushes at the moment. The Nitty Gritty brush by Lisa Glanz. I hope you like the little cat.

In this post I added this easy to color free digital stamp (for personal use only) featuring a little kid on a swing. This is not by far one of my latest digis but I thought of adding it here with a little bit of inspiration. One of the great things about digital stamps is that they can be easily resized to fit your project needs. This means that you can use them for everything from scrapbooking to making greeting cards.

This digital stamp would be perfect for your card making in birthday cards, encouragement cards or as I have in my photo above, thank you cards. For your scrapbooking it would be perfect for vacation, playground photos and school memories of your children. In journaling, add it to childcare reminders, fun planned activities or just to add a touch of color to your pages. 

If you need to complement your projects with more images or even sentiments, complement away! In my store you can find a lot of sentiments that would work perfectly well with this image.

Although the coloring I have in this coloring chart is not the same as I used in the card above, it will serve you as inspiration for your own. You don't have to color with Copic markers or any marker at all, you can do it with your favorite colored pencils, watercolors and crayons. I particularly like coloring with markers and pencils, as watercolor is not my forte and I can't print in watercolor paper with my printer.

Yellow is the color of sunshine, it brings a lot of positive feelings, hope and happiness. This color can be cheery and calming, and there are so many shades to choose from!

This floral bouquet was painted using Procreate on an iPad Pro. After having the basic shape of the bouquet, I begin to add in the details of the flowers. I use a variety of brushes to get the different textures from the petals and the stems. I am using the Procreate brush called The Nitty Gritty Brushbox by Liza Glanz (by far my favorite brush so far). 

I don't really enjoy painting flowers, but hopefully this will be the start of something new that I'll be better at. You can expect to see more paintings from me in the future!
